Campsite Information

Arrival and Departure Times:

Arrival from 1pm and departure by 12 noon.

Firepits are available for hire along with the purchase of seasoned wood or hot-max.

The bathroom facilities in the static caravan home are available for all campers and camper vans that don't have toilet facilities. Due to the small nature of our campsite we would ask caravans & motorhomes with their own facilities to please use them.

There are 2 additional toilets located adjacent to the facilities which have hand sanitiser gel as well as an external cold water tap with hand sanitiser for thoroughly washing hands. Please be considerate of other users at peak times.

There is an honesty box available for use of the shower or bath. We recommend £1.00 for every 24hrs use.

Portable Camping toilets & Pop up tents are available to hire if you prefer to have your own.
Visitors can  relax in the lounge area to read books or magazines and enjoy their own tea, coffee or cold drink and even listen to classical or soft music from the available digital radio if they wish.

Maps detailing local cycle routes and family friendly walks in Northumberland are available to view.

Children must be supervised in the static caravan home at all times.

Use of the kitchen’s sink, fridge and freezer is permitted as well as the use of electrical points for charging mobile phones and power-bank batteries.

Any phones or electrical devices left charging are left at your own risk (we recommend that valuables are not left unattended). PLease make a donation in the available money boxes for use of these services.

Internal and external drinking water is available.
A ‘blue-chemical’ holding tank is on site with sanitising area and fully serviced (blue-chemical) camping toilets are available for hire
Walkmill has a small shop available which provides milk, farmshop eggs, meat (bacon, sausages, burgers) from the local butchers. Morwick Dairy Ice Cream. Selected snacks.

Such a lovely spot, in a beautiful part of the world. A lovely campsite, great peaceful atmosphere. Lovely clean facilities. Very helpful and pleasant owners. Would highly recommend.

Our pitch was perfect, plenty of space for our 10 night stay. We saw herons, buzzards and sparrow hawks. We heard the owls at night and the stars were very clear. The amenities were clean and rarely crowded. It was nice to have fresh milk, meat and a homemade cake if we fancied from their honesty box shop 😊. We would definitely visit again.

We were blown away with this peaceful site. It was well kept, the pitches were an excellent size, the facilities as stated and very clean. Both the owners and other campers were delightful. We will be back!

One of my favourite campsites:clean and quiet. A gorgeous site with long grass and huge trees. Enjoyed watching the bats and barn owl in the evening. Good facilities as well, hot water, can charge phones and fridge.
