Booking Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking and the balance is payable 30 days prior to your stay. If it is less than 30 days before your stay payment will be taken in full at the time of booking. Stays of three nights or less should be paid for in full at the time of booking.

PLEASE USE GOOGLEMAPS to find us NOT Satnav,  always come through Warkworth with the castle on your left otherwise you could be directed to the Ford at the bottom of Watershaugh Road which is not suitable for Caravans , Motorhomes or Campervans.  We are 2 miles from Guyzance Village. Our site is not visible from the road. We are located at the bottom of 1/2mile farm track. To see the ‘Directions Page’ click HERE.

Arrival time is from 1.00pm with departure by 12noon. Latest serviced check-in is by 8.00pm Monday to Sunday and Reception is open between 8.00am and 8.00pm from March to end September.

If you have a late arrival after 8pm, please send a text to 07929 882 472 to notify us of your ETA so that we can welcome you to Walkmill and show you to your pitch.

Please note there is strictly no access to the River Coquet from Walkmill Campsite. The boundary prior to the riverbank is marked by a top-wire fence line.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Walkmill Campsite and must always be kept on a tether or dog-lead.

Firepits which are raised off the ground can be used and are available to hire. Wood can also be purchased from Walkmill Campsite.

Tents 6 berth or larger are subject to a £3.00 per night supplement, this also applies to 5 metre Bell Tents, so please use the extras button to add on the supplement.

Walkmill Campsite has a minimum pitch price of £15.00 so please use the extras button to amend accordingly. This will apply to bookings of only 1 adult.
