IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE SATNAV to find us. Our POSTCODE NE65 9AJ works with GOOGLEMAPS but do not let googlemaps direct you over the ford at the bottom of Watershaugh Road if you are towing a caravan. Come through Warkworth village and turn 1st left after the bridge leaving Warkworth (then a further two left turns) which will get you on the right road.
Walkmill Campsite is open and we are extending our season until the end of October 2020. Whilst Northumberland is in local lockdown (as from midnight 17th September 2020), we cannot except any bookings for multiple households. If this effects any current bookings please email firstname.lastname@example.org to rearrange your stay.
Our toilets & shower are open. We also have some portable toilets available to hire and encourage campers to bring their own if they have them. Caravans & Motorhomes with their own facilities should use them. We are operating a social distancing policy at Walkmill. The washing up area and bathroom are restricted to a maximum of 2 people at any one time and the 2 metre rule still applying here at Walkmill.
Our booking policy for 4th July onwards is as detailed by the Cool Camping Coronavirus Booking Guarantee. A 20% non refundable deposit with the balance payable 10 days prior to the start of your stay. In the event that we are unable to open or may have to close again due to Coronavirus all bookings are transferable for up to 18 months.
